How it fits

A Tuesday in January, with all of it switched on.

Not a feature list. The same day you already have, with the parts you don’t get paid for handled. Every step says which service does it.

6:55 AM

A frozen pipe before the office opens. The job is booked.

The agent answers in the caller’s language, asks where the water is and whether the main is off, books the first slot and texts the address to the tech on the road.

9:30 AM

Three furnace calls in ten minutes. All three are answered.

The cold snap morning. Each caller gets a window, a confirmation text and a price for the diagnostic, and nobody hears a busy signal or a voicemail.

1:10 PM

The crew is running late. The next customer gets the new window by text.

You update the job once; the text agent tells the 2:00 customer it will be 3:30, answers their reply and keeps the “where is he” call from reaching your phone.

4:45 PM

A panel upgrade quote request from the website is booked for Thursday.

The chat asks for the panel’s amperage and a photo, explains what a visit involves, and books the estimate. The lead is in the CRM with the photo attached.

11:20 PM

A no-heat call at night is triaged and booked for 7 am.

The agent asks the questions you set, tells the caller what to do tonight, books the first morning slot, and texts the on-call tech the summary. The job is yours, not the next listing’s.

All season

Maintenance reminders go out, and new customers find you.

The fall furnace tune-up text to everyone you served last winter, the reminder the day before, and a site that loads in under three seconds when someone searches “furnace repair near me” at 6 am.

Every call, answered and booked

Your AI dispatcher answers while you are in a crawlspace.

  • Answers every call, even on the ladder

Three lines ring during a cold snap and each gets a clear, calm answer in the caller’s language, with the address and the problem logged.

  • Books the job and the window

It asks what you tell it to — gas or electric, any water, how long — books the slot and texts the customer the arrival window and what to switch off.

  • Cuts the “where is he” calls

The text agent confirms the window the night before and sends “on our way” when the truck leaves the last job, so the customer stops calling the office.

The CRM

Booking the call-out is the easy part. The next winter is the CRM.

The CRM is one place where every customer, address and job lives — and the thing that sends the tune-up reminder, the arrival text and the follow-up quote without anyone in the office remembering to.

  • Every call, text, chat and booking in one place, with the address, the equipment and what was done last time.

  • Seasonal reminders to everyone you served, which is what fills October and April.

  • Arrival-window texts the night before and “on our way” from the truck, which cuts the office calls.

  • Quotes that follow up on their own three days later, so the panel upgrade does not go to whoever called back first.

What we measured

77%

of HVAC, plumbing and electrical websites take more than 4 seconds to show their main content on a phone.

We ran Google’s own PageSpeed test on 12,603 HVAC, plumbing and electrical websites in Canada and the United States. The average main-content load was 9.6 seconds; Google’s “good” line is 2.5. The trades’ sites are better than most we measure, and a homeowner with no heat at 6 am still taps the first listing that loads.

Measured with Google PageSpeed Insights, mobile, October 2026. Largest Contentful Paint, which is the moment the page’s main content appears.

Frequently asked questions

What happens with a no-heat call at 2 am?

Whatever you decide. If you run an emergency line, it asks the questions you set, tells the caller what to do tonight, and either pages the on-call tech or books the first morning slot. If you do not, it says so plainly, books the first slot, and texts you the summary so the job is yours when you wake up — not the next listing’s.

Can it quote a job over the phone?

It quotes what you give it a price for — the diagnostic fee, a tune-up, a water heater swap — and never guesses at a repair it has not seen. For anything else it books the visit, tells the caller what the diagnostic costs, and texts you the problem and the address so you can call back with a real number.

Does it work with my dispatch or field software?

It books into the calendar you dispatch from, whether that is the scheduler inside your field-service software or a shared Google calendar. We connect it during setup and test a real booking with you before it takes its first call. Your invoicing stays as it is.

Will it stop the “where is he” calls?

That is the text agent’s job. It confirms the arrival window the night before, sends “on our way” when you mark the previous job done, and answers the “how much longer” reply with the window you gave it. The customer stops phoning the office because they already know.
