Sample sites

Fifteen industries. Fifteen sample sites, all live code.

Pick yours from the wall. Each is a fictional business built the way we would build the real one, not a picture: open it in the viewer, switch to the phone and watch it reflow, exactly as the real site would.

Boutique Lavande · Local retail · fictional business, sample content

A boutique’s site has one job the big retailers cannot do: say what is on the rack right now, in your size, and hold it. The stock check sits in the hero, the hold is one tap, and the text when it is set aside is what turns a browse at lunch into a visit after work.

Not concept art. These are two client sites we are building now, on their staging domains, shown here at desktop and phone size. Open them, resize them, run them through any speed test you like.

Window cleaning & exterior maintenance · Sherbrooke, Québec

Vista Entretien

A local service business whose site has one job: turn a search for “lavage de vitres Sherbrooke” into a quote request. The quote button is in the header, the hero and the footer; services, guarantees and reviews fill the space between. Fully bilingual, French first.

What’s included

What every build ships with.

The same six things, whether the site is a four-page trades business or a bilingual online shop.

Designed on the phone first

Most of your visitors arrive on a phone, so that is the layout we design first and the one we sign off last. No templates: the page is built around the one action you need visitors to take.

Speed you can measure

HTML rendered at build time, critical CSS inlined, images sized to the slot they fill, scripts deferred. We tune to Core Web Vitals on a throttled phone, not to a demo on a fast laptop.

Bilingual from the architecture up

Separate French and English routes, hreflang tags so each language ranks on its own, and copy written by people in both languages, not run through a translator at the end.

Forms that get finished

Every form autofills from the browser, submits on Enter, and lands in your CRM with a notification to your team. A lead never dies in a form that would not send.

Search and AI-search foundations

Structured data, a clean heading outline, indexable content and an llms.txt, so the site is legible to Google and to the AI assistants people now ask instead.

Your platform, your team, 30 days of us

WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or a custom build, chosen for how you sell. Your team is trained on it, and we stay on for thirty days after launch so nothing slips.

The page you are reading is one of ours.

Rendered to HTML at build time, French and English on separate routes, forms that autofill and feed our own CRM. Run it through PageSpeed Insights, then run your current site, and compare the two.

FAQ

Questions we get asked before a web project.

How much does a custom website cost?

A professional custom website for a service business typically starts around US$3,500–US$4,750 for a 5–10 page site. E-commerce starts at US$5,500 (five pages and 50 products), and a bilingual English and French build adds 35%, because of the additional development and content work involved. Factors that move the price include page count, custom functionality (booking systems, member portals, product catalogs), and design complexity. We provide a detailed scope and fixed-price quote after a discovery call, with no change orders after signing unless you add scope.

Which platform do you build on?

We build on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or modern frameworks (React, Next.js) depending on your needs, your team's comfort level, and your growth plans. WordPress is our most common choice for service businesses and content-heavy sites — it gives the best balance of flexibility, plugin ecosystem, and client manageability. Shopify is the clear choice for e-commerce. Webflow works well for visually complex marketing sites that need fast iteration without code. We recommend the platform that fits your business, not the one that is fastest for us to build on.

How long does a website project take?

A standard custom website runs 4–8 weeks from signed agreement to launch. The two main variables are content readiness — how quickly you provide copy, images, and brand assets — and the number of revision cycles. Clients who come with content ready and give consolidated feedback in each round typically launch in 4–5 weeks. We share a milestone timeline with exact dates at project kickoff, and flag any risk to the schedule early so there are no surprises at the end.

What does your web design process look like?

Our process runs five phases. (1) Discovery: we audit your current site's performance and crawl health, map competitors, and document your conversion goals and audience. (2) Architecture and wireframing: we define the page hierarchy and user journeys before any visual design is applied — structure first, aesthetics second. (3) Visual design: we develop mockups aligned to your brand, then iterate on your feedback until the design is approved. (4) Development and QA: we build on your chosen CMS, run Core Web Vitals audits on mobile and desktop, and test across browsers and real devices before handoff. (5) Launch and post-launch: we manage the go-live, monitor error logs and uptime for 72 hours, and spend the next 30 days on Analytics verification, Search Console setup, and performance tracking.

Do you build bilingual French and English websites?

Yes — bilingual web design is core to how we build, for businesses across Canada and the US. We architect bilingual sites with clean URL structures (/fr/ subdirectory), implement hreflang tags correctly so Google serves each audience the right language version, and configure canonical tags to prevent duplicate content penalties. French pages are written in native Quebec French — we do not run machine translation. Each language version is independently optimized for search with separate keyword targets, meta tags, and structured data for French and English queries.
